BOLD opened in 2020 as a means of providing an opportunity for local artists to share their creations with a world reeling from the effects of a terrible pandemic. The hope was for the community to find solace and unity over common values of love, kindness and appreciation for nature, art and good coffee.

It's a bold step for a person to decide to share their creations with the world. When someone creates a piece of art, they're showing us a piece of themselves. BOLD is honored to feature over 40 bold local artists as they add to the magic that is the Long Beach Peninsula.
